Well this is better late than never right! Greyson turned 2 on August 22. It is hard to believe! He is growing upso fast. He is smart, funny and absolutely adorable! We did his party around the book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" It was supper cute! Our plans were to have it at a park so the kids could play but of course it got seriously rained out, so we took it to my moms house. Thanks so much mom for letting us barg in on your house at the last minute. It was a smaller party but it was sweet just the same. The kids all had fun with their bug goodie bags. Thanks to my mom and sisters for helping set everything up and to my husband for designing his cute invitation. He got many great gifts. We got him a four wheeler and my parents got him a drum set and Chuck's parents got him a G.I. Joe just to name a few. I want to thank everyone for loving my boy.... he is pretty darn special!!!

Summer goes and school begins
So August has come and gone now. And boy was it busy! We got to spend some much needed time with Alexander. It was great having him for 6 weeks this summer. He is now 17....and growing up too fast! We completed construction in Tristan's room. I am sooooo excited about that! He now has his own room and it is so awesome. I am so thankful for my husband for all his hard work and I am very pleased with how it has turned out.
Tristan stayed busy all summer. He went to concerts with friends, he went to Montana and Albuquerque with his mom, vacation with us, movies and so much more. He was seriously a busy boy! He started 7th grade! I can't believe he is in 7th grade. I hope and pray he has a better year grade wise. Its hard on everyone when they don't do good. He is letting his hari grow out and is getting so tall.
Greyson loves daycare. He goes 2 days a week and has so much fun going to "school". He is getting so tall and finally starting to talk some more. He is always into something and man is he fast! So fast. He is a funny kid, loves to make faces and loves to laugh. He love music and loves to dance. He has got some moves! He makes me smile so much. He just turned "two-ah" as he started saying and I will tell more about that soon.
Chuck has been busy with school work and keeping track of Greyson. Me, I feel like I am going 24/7. Work, appts, kids, school, house work, sleep and do it all again. But I love my life. I love my husband and my boys and I thank God for letting me a wife and mother to them.

Family Vacation 2011 - Vallecito Lake
So we got to take a family vacation this year and it was just amazing! We shared so many great moments and memories! We rented a cabin at Vallecito Lake for a whole week. We rented a slip for the boat but had boat problems, so instead of letting that ruin our week we just took the boat back to Farmington and enjoyed our time with the family. I went a little over board and made lots of spreadsheets showing our menu and food supplies. Everyone got a good laugh at me but man it was so helpful! We didn't have any plans other than to relax and have a good time.
Day 1
We got everyone settled and unpacked. Enjoyed dinner and then Kim, Alexander, Tristan and Chuck saw a bear on the porch right outside the kitchen window! Got everyone excited for the week to come.
Day 2
Chuck and I took the boat back to Farmington which took a good chunk of the day. Everyone else just relaxed and played board games and watched TV. That night we had a raccoon on the trash bin which Jenn said was hugh! lol
Day 3
Another day of card games and lots of laughs. We took the boys to the lake and Greyson loved playing in the water! He is gonna be a daredevil which scares me to death! This night the bear came back at about 1:30 am. He was so loud! He tore up the trash bin on the porch. He was right outside Jenn's bedroom so she was a little shook up, lol!
Day 4
More lake time fun. Playing in the water and hanging out. We were excited to be able to watch the fireworks right from our front porch! The fireworks at Vallecito Lake are amazing! 28 minutes long! This was also Alexander's birthday! We celebrated after the fireworks with a goofy looking cake that I made, ( did not get my mothers decorating skills!) I have a hard time believing he is 17! Where has time gone! The bear did not come by this night but the raccoon stopped in for a visit but Alexander was the only one who got to see him that time.
Day 5
Dad, mom and Jenn all went back to Farmington to work so the rest of us went into Durango to kill some time. Durango was crazy busy but it was fun to get out. Lazy afternoon with breezes blowing thru the house makes for perfect napping weather. The bear visited again this night and I finally got to see him. He was trying to get back into the trash bin and did not want to leave when Chuck was trying to shooo him away.
Day 6
Tristan caught the one and only fish of the week and boy was it a big one. It was a beautiful and tasty Trout! We went to a cute antique shop in Bayfield this day. We found so much cute stuff that makes me want to go antique shopping more often! We had fun playing rummy many of the afternoons although I don't think anyone ever won! We decided to take the trash to the office dumpster so there was no bear visits that night.
Day 7
Kim found a great little dirt road that led to a perfect little stream that we played in that afternoon. I think that was my favorite. The water was clear and we splashed and had great fun. We dropped Tristan off in Hesperas with his best friend and he spent the weekend at a Christian Concert and had a wonderful time! The boy has had a busy summer to say the least!
Day 8
We had to get packed up and out of there by 10am... we were out by 9, lol. Not that we were ready to leave but we knew it had to come to an end. It was so special to spend that time with my family. Something we all needed and something we will never forget. I do think Greyson had the most fun out of everyone though. It was hard to keep the kid inside! Between the walks up the hill, sticks, rocks and water he was a happy boy! I am so thankful for my family and the time we got to spend together. I love you all so much and can't wait for our next vacation.

- Went to Houston for 5 days for work. Missed my boys terribly!
- Took Greyson to Big Bounce for the first time for my dear friend Crystal's little boy, Kade's, birthday party. He loved it!
- Tristan had his last band concert of the year and signed up for band again next year! So proud of him.
- Both Tristan and Alexander finished the school year. Alexander has improved so much at his new school and he is doing so great. We are super proud of him. Tristan needs a good kick in the rear sometimes but he will get better!
- Summer began and it has been non-stop since it started!
- Had a nice fathers day.
- Bought a little pool for the back yard.. had a blast with it while it lasted but we decided to get rid of it for multiple reasons.
- Greyson has been off and on battling a very bad cough. We have been back and forth from the ER to the Dr's office will still no clear solution.
- Tristan went to church camp and a concert in Colorado with his best friend. He has had a busy and fun summer!
- Alexander is with us for a few weeks so we are really excited to spend some time with him!

The Flower
So we had lunch today with my parents and our Pastor. This is a common occurance... but today was special! We ate at Si Senor. Afterwards we were outside talking. Pastor was playing with Greyson in the grass. They were throwing an Easter egg that Greyson "aquired" from the restuarant. Well Pastor found a dandelion. He picked it and then bent down and told Greyson something. Next thing I know Greyson is running down the sidewalk with a huge smile on his face and hands me the flower and give me a big hug! Definately a memory made! He is so special to me! I love you Greyson, always and forever!

Dirt
Have I mentioned how much this little boy likes to be outside? He really does! He loves to play in the dirt, chew on a stick or throw a ball. Sunday was a beautiful day outside so we played. We got to play with some new toys that we bought a few weeks ago, a foam gun, bubble shooter and some tiny kites. It was a lot of fun! I am really looking forward to many more afternoons playing outside this summer!
Welcome Spring!
Well I think we finally have the cold weather behind us! Enter spring.. with all its wind and glory and allergies! Its spring break this week. We have had Alexander here for 2 weeks and have really enjoyed having him here. I'm gonna hate to see him go this weekend. His brothers are going to miss him dearly. We are currently trying to get everyone healthy after most of the household being sick for a couple of weeks. Found out our little Greyson has a high tolerance for pain, took him to the ER because he was pulling at his ear and come to find out he has a horrible ear infection! But hopefully we have that on the mend now.
I had a great birthday. 32 this year.. wow. I worked on my birthday which I have always hated but I guess thats what happens when you grow up. lol. I had a great lunch with my hubby and friends and then a great dinner with my family. Chuck got me a new shotgun which I can't wait to shoot! I am a very blessed woman!
I am currently in a phase where I really feel inadequate in the things I am doing. I am going to go get some books this weekend to start reading. I want to improve myself in many ways. I pray God uses me and makes me the best wife and mother I can be.
So.... no post would be complete without a few pictures right? So here are a few pictures from my Project 365! Would love to hear from any readers out there... if there are any :)
